1 This is not about who is hot and who is not. This "are you hot" culture America has become very annoying. Dare I say it has gotten old. These women are star struck and they need to get over that and start acting like presidental daughters. Period.

2 I've never really understood the fascination with celebrity. Well, not since I was 13 or 14, that is. I've seen movie stars, star athletes and musicians up close and they've always been, at the very least, nice. But I'm not the sort to even ask for an autograph. Typically I'll ask to shake their hand and tell them I appreciate their work and leave it at that. I guess that's why I don't get how people like Paris Hilton become celebrities. Her contributions to society are nil. Well, unless you count going to parties in the Hamptons. Like I give a rat's ass about that. This is why I no longer can watch E! or 75% of the reality shows out there. They've created the most superficial levels of celebrity ever. Okay. I'm done now. :-)

3 Ooooh, what about me? Am I hot?! Are the things that I like good? My self-worth is wholly founded on the opinions of others and I need to know. ;-)

4 So Kerry's kids can't be starstruck but the current prez's kids can be drunk little...(nevermind ...) Which just goes to show, these girls are at least human too. I'd rather see them fawn over a celebrity, like the rest of the world would do, rather than be like Paris Hilton..or like the above mentioned twins..

5 They're acting like any immature giggling girls would act in his presence, or in the presence of any young, famous, hot thing for that matter. Prob is, they're not supposed to be just "any" girls. These girls need to get it together. A Bush child gets highly criticized for poking her tongue out at a reporter...imagine how they'd be slaughtered for partying star-struck behavior.

6 Andrea, My point was not to say who is better the Bush twins or the Kerry daughters. My comment wasn't about politics. My comment was about people who have problems with Kerry's daughters and instead of just stating the problem they have to add their "hot status". The story is they were acting star struck, period. The story is not if they are hot or not. This not hot status we add to people we don't like is what I have issue with.
