David Hasselhoff's role in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, due Nov. 19, has the former Baywatch and Knight Rider TV star stoked.

Hasselhoff, 52, is the hero who saves SpongeBob and sidekick Patrick after they get landlocked upon leaving their Bikini Bottom home. "I'm the king of the lifeguards. No one else could play the greatest lifeguard in the world," he laughs.

--Milk that role for all it's worth. How's that album coming, David?
