Oprah Winfrey, who's been accused of being anti-hip-hop, says that's not true. "I listen to some hip-hop ... I got a little 'Fitty' [50 Cent] on my iPod and I love [Fitty's] 'In Da Club,' I love it," Winfrey recently told Power 105's Ed Lover when she dropped by his show with her pal, Gayle King.

"Jay-Z, I love Kanye [West], Jay is one of my friends," said Winfrey, who was promoting her upcoming ABC special, "Oprah Winfrey's Legends Ball." "I'm opposed to some of the music that offends my sensibilities, that's when you're degrading women, marginalizing women, but the beat I love," Winfrey said.

"Years and years ago Quincy Jones and I had this conversation about the evolution of hip-hop and what it really means to our culture. "Hip-hop is like jazz and gospel music," Winfrey said. "It evolved from people out of a form of protest, out of a form of expression. You can't deny that, nor would I try ..."

It's splitsville for Greg Norman and his wife of 25 years, Laura.

"We are going to do this amicably," the Australian golfing great told the Sydney Morning Herald. "We'll remain friends." Norman, known as the Great White Shark, wouldn't go into why the marriage failed, but said, "There is no third party."

Laura, an American flight attendant when she met Norman, could be in for a $200 million payday because Norman, who was No. 1 in the world for nearly seven years, has myriad business interests outside golf - from clothing and lawn care, to wine and a restaurant in South Carolina. Sir Paul McCartney and his wife of four years, former model and anti-landmine advocate Heather Mills, are separating.

"Having tried exceptionally hard to make our relationship work given the daily pressures surrounding us, it is with sadness that we have decided to go our separate ways," the couple said in a joint statement. "Our parting is amicable and both of us still care about each other very much but have found it increasingly difficult to maintain a normal relationship with constant intrusion into our private lives, and we have actively tried to protect the privacy of our child," the statement continued.

"Separation for any couple is difficult enough, but to have to go through this so publicly, especially with a small daughter, is immensely stressful. We hope, for the sake of our baby daughter, that we will be given some space and time to get through this difficult period."

The couple married in June 2002 in a $3.2 million wedding in Northern Ireland. Their daughter, Beatrice Milly, was born in October 2003. McCartney, 63, and Mills, 37, met through her charity work, the Heather Mills Heath Trust, which provides prosthetic limbs to the needy and campaigns against landmines.

Singer Jennifer Lopez is reportedly expecting her first child with husband Marc Anthony, according to media reports.

Lopez appeared at the ALMA Awards in Los Angeles on May 7, sporting what appeared to be a small bump and telltale grey roots. The following day, the star abruptly cancelled her first concert tour without giving an explanation, further fuelling rumors of a pregnancy.

Sources tell In Touch the star is three months pregnant and that the baby will be born around Christmas. Anthony spoke publicly of having a baby with Lopez at the event saying, "I'm looking forward to starting a family."

Paris Hilton has been savaged in a new song.

American comedian Mark Manne launched into a bitter tirade during a rendition of his ballad, 'Everything That is Wrong with America Today (aka The Paris Hilton Song)', at The Laugh Factory in New York last weekend.

He sang: "Paris, I want to hit you in the face with a bat/Because you pampered your dog, then got rid of her when she got fat. "You must have paid the studio some money to put you in the 'House of Wax'/'Cause you got no talent, you can't act, and you can't sing. "You're not that pretty, you're not that hot, you're not even interesting."

He continued: "Paris Hilton, why do I even know your name? Is it the short skirts? No! 'The Simple Life'? No! It's cause you'll have sex with anything. "You're so mean, all bathed in green, an amateur porno queen/Go away, just go away from here, go away."

--I think Paris is as pathetic as the next person, but wanting to hit her in the face with a bat? That's a bit extreme.

Richard Hatch, who won $1 million in the debut season of "Survivor," was sentenced Tuesday to 51 months in prison for failing to pay income taxes on his reality TV prize and other earnings.

Hatch, 45, was convicted in January. The charges carried a maximum of 13 years in prison.

Hatch, who has been in a jail in Plymouth, Mass., since his conviction, claimed he thought the show's producers would pay his taxes and pleaded ignorance about money matters, saying he forgot to tell his accountants about some income.

It's shaping up as a battle between "The Drowsy Chaperone," a frothy celebration of a faux 1920s musical, and "Jersey Boys," showcasing the story and pop sounds of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

"Chaperone" received 13 Tony nominations Tuesday — more than any other show — while "Jersey Boys" grabbed eight nods in what has been a busy Broadway season. They were the two best-reviewed musicals of the season, with "Chaperone" already winning the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award and "Jersey Boys" the Outer Critics Circle prize. But also showing surprising Tony strength was "The Color Purple," the Oprah Winfrey-produced musical based on Alice Walker's novel about a determined woman's triumph over adversity. It placed second with 11 nominations. All three will compete in the best musical category along with "The Wedding Singer," based on the 1998 Adam Sandler film.

"The History Boys," Alan Bennett's London success about a group of boisterous students trying to get into Oxford or Cambridge, dominated the play categories, receiving seven nominations including one for best play. The play's competition for the top drama prize will be "The Lieutenant of Inishmore," Martin McDonagh's comic splatterfest about a crazed Irish terrorist; "Shining City," Conor McPherson's ghost story set in present-day Dublin; and "Rabbit Hole," David Lindsay-Abaire's look at a suburban couple attempting to deal with the death of their young son.

Going up against Griffiths will be Ralph Fiennes who plays the title character in Brian Friel's "Faith Healer"; Oliver Platt, the haunted husband in "Shining City"; David Wilmot, a crazed terrorist in "The Lieutenant of Inishmore" and Zeljko Ivanek, an intense naval officer in "The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial," which closes Sunday after a two-week run.

In one oddity, all the women nominated for best actress starred in plays that already have closed: Cynthia Nixon, the distraught mother in "Rabbit Hole"; Judy Kaye, a tone-deaf diva in "Souvenir"; Lisa Kron, an embattled daughter in "Well," and two performers from the revival of W. Somerset Maugham's "The Constant Wife," Kate Burton and Lynn Redgrave.

One actress who is still starring on Broadway (through June 1 is Julia Roberts, but she was passed over for a nomination in "Three Days of Rain," as were her two co-stars, Paul Rudd and Bradley Cooper.

Harry Connick Jr. was luckier. He received an actor-musical nod for his work in the revival of "The Pajama Game," which got nine bids.

2 Boo on you! Not one mention of the nominations for the acclaimed revival of "Sweeney Todd?" I think Patti Lupone is going to win another Tony. Sutton Foster seems to be consistently picking great projects to star in. I think this makes her third nomination in four years.

Donald Trump may rank No. 4 on a new list of the worldÂ’s most effective pitchmen when it comes to selling to men - but buyer beware.

While men’s fashion bible DNR gushes over Trump as “a one-man branding bonanza,” it turns out his shilling skills are a double-edged sword. “Of the men who remember a Donald Trump ad, just as many thought he endorsed American Express as Visa - the company that actually hired him,” said Marshall Cohen of the NPD Group, a consumer-info researcher.

George Foreman tops the list, followed by Tiger Woods and Lance Armstrong. Paris Hilton's mother can only imagine what her celebrity daughter got her for Mother's Day. That's because thieves stole the gifts before Kathy Hilton received them.

A gift bag containing nearly $10,000 worth of Christian Dior shoes, sunglasses, handbags and perfume was taken from outside the Hilton home, spokesman Elliot Mintz said Monday. The younger Hilton "spent three or four hours shopping to put together this wonderful collection of things for her mom," Mintz said.

A delivery person set the package down outside the home's gate to ring the intercom when a passenger in a passing car snatched the gifts. "A fellow just whizzed by and grabbed the package," Mintz said.

Eva Longoria tops Maxim's seventh annual "Hot 100" list of the most successful women in film, TV, music, sports and fashion for the second year in a row.

The "Desperate Housewives" actress told The Associated Press that her repeat selection for the No. 1 spot was a shock. "I was actually really shocked last year when I made the list," said the 31-year-old Longoria, who ranked No. 91 on the 2004 roster. "So 91 to No. 1 was a big jump, and then to get it a second time in a row - I just couldn't believe it," she said Friday. "I was like, `Surely there are more beautiful women in the world.' I can name 10."

Maxim said it is the first time the magazine has bestowed the No. 1 honor back-to-back. Editors made the selections for the issue, which will be on newsstands Thursday. The magazine said all of the women on the list have several things in common, including "a tremendous amount of buzz surrounding them, undeniable beauty and a promise of greater things to come."

Jessica Alba is No. 2, followed by Lindsay Lohan, Angelina Jolie, Stacy Keibler ("Dancing With the Stars"), Scarlett Johansson, Cameron Diaz, Kate Bosworth, Keira Knightley and singer-actress Christina Milian.

Now that he's done playing Aquaman, David Blaine wants to try another mythical hero on for size: Tarzan the Ape Man.

The waterlogged escape artist, who last week failed in his attempt to set a world breath-holding record after submerging himself for seven days in a 2,000-gallon tank outside Lincoln Center, says his next stunt will involve living "among wild beasts." Blaine divulged his stunt plans while testing his human aquarium upstate three days prior to kicking off the marathon dip.

"I'm planning to live harmoniously among wild beasts," he told The Post. "And I'd like to do it alone in the jungle." That would be a new twist on his previous feats, all of which were staged in urban settings.

But at least one expert cautions him against spending too much time where the lions and tigers roam free. "I'd be amazed if he lasted a week in a place like the Sunderbunds" - a vast, swampy reserve park in northern India, said Animal Planet zoologist Dave Salmoni. "After just 24 hours, chances are excellent that Blaine would run across a Bengal tiger - and it would eat him," he added. Salmoni says the latter-day Houdini would also be hard-pressed to last a week in the wilds of the East African nation of Tanzania, where lions have eaten about 170 people thus far this year.
