Not-So-Classy

Ja Rule and his posse were bounced from Plumm nightclub after one of the pint-size rapper's pals supposedly slapped a woman in the face, a club insider reports.

A spokeswoman for Rule says her client wasn't even at the club last Thursday, but our snitch swears Rule and his unruly bunch were "harassing models all night long" until one woman objected and began arguing with Rule's pal. "His friend slapped the girl so hard, everyone saw it," says our mole. "Security was quickly ushered over and the entire group, including Ja Rule, were escorted out."

Rule's flack said she asked Rule about the alleged incident and he told her he was in the studio recording his next album that night. Plumm owner Noel Ashman insisted that Rule was holding court there, but declined to comment on the alleged slapping incident. We're also told that after Rule and Co. got bounced, they loitered outside and tried to chat up women who were coming and going.

Spice Girl News

Spice Girl News:

--Victoria Beckham has reportedly had a new tattoo to commemorate the first time she had sex with husband David.

The former Spice Girl arranged to have '8th May' - the night the pair got intimate for the first time in 1997 - inscribed on her wrist. The mom-of-three, who already has 'DB' tattooed on her arm, chose the design after soccer ace David treated her to a weekend at Paris' swanky Ritz hotel for the romantic anniversary.

A friend told Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper: "David had remembered their first night of passion from all those years ago. It was only when they were together alone that he reminded her what anniversary they were celebrating." The source added: "Victoria hadn't remembered the exact dates - but she was bowled over when David told her during dinner. She knew then that she had to commemorate the occasion with something permanent."

Victoria approached British tattooist Louis Molloy - who has etched all the couple's tattoos - about engraving the date on her arm in Roman numerals. Molloy was also hired to etch a Michaelangelo-style vision of heaven on David's shoulder. He said: "The Beckhams' tattoos are the only thing they'll take to the grave with them." The pair's spokesman refused to comment on the tattoo, saying it was "a private matter" between the couple.

--Geri Halliwell gave birth to a baby girl — after refusing to allow the child's dad to be present.

Ex-Spice Girl Geri, 33, checked into a suite at London’s Portland Hospital early yesterday to prepare for a Caesarean section. Her mom Anna Maria was with her at the birth — which was not due until later this month. The baby was delivered at 9pm by top obstetrician Malcolm Gillard, who delivered David and Victoria Beckham’s first son Brooklyn. Mr. Gillard was also flown to Spain to oversee the birth of Posh’s third son Cruz and was recommended to Geri.

A hospital source said last night: “The birth went well. Mother and daughter are doing fine.” The baby’s dad Sacha Gervasi, a 40-year-old Hollywood screenwriter, had been frozen out.

McMakeover

A comfortable armchair. Cool hanging lights. Funky graphics and photos on the walls. Wi-Fi access. Premium coffee. Isn't Starbucks great? Except...this is McDonald's. McDonald's? That's right. After 30 years without a major design overhaul, the 51-year-old fast-food giant is adopting a hip new look. The world's largest hamburger chain is redesigning its 30,000 eateries around the globe in a 21st century makeover of unprecedented scale.

The redesign is risky and has many franchisees up in arms over the high costs of a makeover. But company officials believe the overhaul is needed. McDonald's, whose restaurants are visited by more than 40 million people every day, has moved aggressively over the past three years to revamp its menu and attract a new breed of customer. It has added healthier items like premium salads targeted at women, and apple slices and skim milk for children. But as more upscale items like Asian chicken salad show up on its menu, the chain's typical starkly lit, plastic-heavy look is at odds with the contemporary, welcoming image the company wants to present.

"McDonald's promises to be a 'forever young' brand," says John Miologos, vice-president of worldwide architecture, design, and construction at McDonald's Corp. "We have to deliver on that promise." The last major change at McDonald's restaurants was the introduction of play places for children in the early 1980s.

Poor Mr. and Mrs. Holmes

Forget whatever it was Tom Cruise told Diane Sawyer about his relationship with Katie Holmes' parents.

The truth is, Katie's parents, Martin and Kathleen Holmes, didnÂ’t get to see baby Suri up close and personal until the day of the "Mission: Impossible 3" premiere in Los Angeles. That would have been May 4. Suri was born in the late afternoon on April 17.

You do the math. That's two and a half weeks. The Holmeses were specifically not invited until Tom was back home in Los Angeles after his worldwide promotional tour and could monitor the babyÂ’s first visit with her maternal grandparents. TomÂ’s mother, Mary Jo Mapother-South, was there for the delivery. So were TomÂ’s sisters. But, as widely reported, the Holmeses were at their vacation home in Florida when they got the news that their daughter had given birth to their first grandchild.

“They are heartbroken,” says the source who filled me in on this, and this person knows what they’re talking about. But no one who’s interviewed Cruise for "M: I3" has dared asked these questions. Instead, they’ve let Cruise refer to Katie as “Kate” and do all the talking for her. The Holmeses are scared to speak out, say friends, for fear that they will be cut off even more from Katie and Suri.

Douche

A contributor to the Best Week Ever blog came across this picture of Nick Lachey and future Arizona Cardinals QB Matt Leinart and noticed something interesting about it.

Seems that the SI staffer who labels photographs and puts them into the database thought outside of the box when it was time to name this one. Instead of naming it “Lachey” or “Leinart_Lachey” or “QB_WashedUpPopStar”, they went with one simple word: Douche. Of course, somebody noticed it and fixed it before too many people caught on.

The "Seinfeld" Curse

Julia Louis-Dreyfus reunited with her co-stars from Seinfeld when she guest hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend.

During her opening monologue the actress, who played Elaine Benes on the hit series, showed a video clip of her bumping into co-star Jason Alexander and talking about the "Seinfeld Curse." The curse states that no Seinfeld star - including Louis-Dreyfus, Alexander, Michael Richards or Jerry Seinfeld - has ever gone on to star in a successful sitcom.

After the two chat, Alexander is hit by a cab. Back in the studio, the actress insists she doesn't believe in the curse, before a stage light falls next to her. The culprit is revealed to be Jerry Seinfeld, who cut the light down with a pair of hedge clippers.

Louis-Dreyfus started her career on Saturday Night Live 21 years ago and made history by becoming the first female cast member to return to host the show.

Tommy Dabbles In Fashion

Tommy Lee is infamous for taking off his clothes - as evidenced by his notorious sex tape with Pamela Anderson - so it may come as a surprise that he's launching a fashion line.

L.A. rag label People's Liberation has enlisted the rocker to help create a limited-edition collection of denim, hooded sweatshirts and hats. Company owner Danny Guez is no stranger to questionable celebrity fashion collaborations: He co-owns the William Rast line with Justin Timberlake and J.T.'s best friend, Trace Ayala.

URGE

For years, MTV Networks Inc. sat on the sidelines while Apple Computer Inc., RealNetworks Inc. and others racked up sales of music downloads. Now the cable network group that helped popularize music videos two decades ago is entering the online music fray with URGE, a new service that makes its public beta debut on Wednesday.

URGE comes integrated into the newest version of Microsoft Corp.'s Windows Media Player, which users of Microsoft's Windows will receive in coming weeks as an upgrade. Prior to that, the player upgrade will be available for download at the URGE and Microsoft Web sites.

At launch, URGE will have more than 2 million tracks, which can be purchased individually at 99 cents or as full albums starting at around $9.95.

The service also will offer unlimited downloads at a monthly rate of $9.95, or $14.95 for the ability to transfer songs to any of more than 100 compatible portable music players. Initially, URGE will also feature streaming videos, with video downloads becoming available for purchase later this year.

Walk of Shame

Matt Leinart was snapped exiting Paris Hilton's Hollywood Hills house Wednesday morning with his jeans and shirt rolled up in his hand after partying with the heiress the night before.

A photographer who was there said that the former USC football star left Hilton's residence in a hurry. Leinart looked around before hopping into a waiting Cadillac, which then drove in reverse until out of sight. Paris wasn't seen until a few hours later when she emerged from the house and drove off in her Bentley.

And...

Paris Hilton unveiled her new video game on Thursday, but inexplicably called it by the wrong name as she greeted throngs of fans and photographers.

Wearing a green minidress and red platform pumps, Hilton made a brief appearance at the Electronic Entertainment Expo to promote "Paris Hilton's Jewel Jam." "Sorry I'm late," the heiress said. "I'm really excited to have my new video game, 'Diamondquest.' Thank you all for coming, and you can download the game," she said.

Breakup?

Richie Sambora is speaking out — and the rocker is blasting rumors that he cheated on wife Heather Locklear.

“I remained faithful during my marriage,” Sambora tells the upcoming issue of Us Magazine. “And I defy anyone to refute that.”

Sambora — who is rumored to have dallied with Denise Richards, the estranged wife of Charlie Sheen as well as his wife’s ex-best friend — is clearly miffed about all the headlines surrounding the modern-day Peyton Place drama. “I will do anything to enable all of us to move past all of this,” the Bon Jovi guitarist told Us. “I pride myself on my privacy, and I will continue to value that.”

“He can’t believe he’s accused of wrongdoing, since Heather ended the marriage, tried to break their ironclad prenup and has now started dating David Spade,” an “insider” told the mag, adding that Richards “would love to spend [some] time” with Sambora and is “thinking” about joining him on the European leg of Bon Jovi’s Have a Nice Day tour. “Richie feels he’s entitled to date, too, and he’s developed strong feelings for Denise.”

Bringing Tasteless To a Whole New Level

A popular radio personality was fired yesterday after making a series of shockingly ugly, racist and violent on-air remarks - including a threat to sexually molest the young daughter of a rival deejay.

The comments by Troi Torain - better known to his listeners on top-rated hip-hop station Power 105 (WWPR-FM) as DJ Star - were so over the top that he could be in hot water with the FCC and the Manhattan district attorney's office.

Torain offered listeners $500 to tell him where the daughter of nemesis DJ Envy, of Hot 97, went to school. "Yes, I disrespect your seed," Torain ranted. "If you didn't hear me, I said I would like to do an R. Kelly on your seed. On your little baby girl." Torain, 42, described in graphic detail what he meant by the reference to the R&B singer Kelly, who allegedly committed an unnatural act on an underage girl, a stunt captured on a widely circulated video.

Torain, who warned in his diatribe that he carries a gun, also called the wife of DJ Envy, whose real name is Rashawn Casey, a "whore," a "lo mein eater" and far worse anti-Asian slurs.

--Whoa. This guy better watch his back.

Blood Money

Ever-tasteful O.J. Simpson pretends to sell his infamous white Ford Bronco in his hidden-camera prank DVD, "Juiced," a rip-off of Ashton Kutcher's MTV mainstay "Punk'd."

Simpson pretends to sell the Bronco at a used car lot, telling the prospective buyer, "It was good for me - it helped me get away. It's a car that I personally made famous. The car has escapability, if you ever get into some trouble." In other none-too-side-splitting stunts on the yet-to-be released DVD, the double-murder acquitee poses as a rapper, an elderly white man in a bingo game for senior citizens, a windshield-washer and a pizza delivery man.

While cash-strapped Simpson is eager to hawk the DVD, it's unclear whether any profits will go directly to the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, whom Simpson was ordered to pay $33.5 million after being found liable for their deaths in a civil suit. Goldman's father, Fred, tells "Inside Edition" that any profits Simpson makes from "Juiced" will be "blood money."
