Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock will wed this weekend in the South of France and then again in California, Michigan and Tennessee, according to the actress.
"I'm going to get married a few times this month to the same guy," said Anderson, already sporting a bridal veil, during a Wednesday news conference in Las Vegas to promote her new online gaming site, PamelaPoker.com.
Referring to her rocker fiancé by his given name, which is Bob (last name: Ritchie), Anderson explained of her serial nuptials: "We had to do Malibu, we've got to do Detroit, and we've got to do Nashville. If Bob knew he was getting married five years ago in St. Tropez, he wouldn't have believed it."
Anderson said that after a Thursday night party in Las Vegas, she'll jet to the South of France for a Saturday wedding. "It'll be on a boat, on a beach and then we're going to a club," she says. "Then (we're) going to have a West Coast party."
She adds that except for the wedding veil ("I'm very excited. I'm starting to get dressed now"), all details of the upcoming celebration are still up in the air ("I haven't even thought about my dress yet"). Even so, "I'm more concerned about my kids and what they're doing over this week than what I'm doing. I want my kids to be a part of it. I want them to be there."
Action star Vin Diesel is reportedly dating a sexy TV presenter he once publicly flirted with as she interviewed him for news show Access Hollywood.
Maria Menounos chose the xXx star as her date when she cheered on her pal Rita Wilson during a recent performance of stage musical Chicago in New York last week.
A source close to Menounos confirms a relationship saying, "They've been friendly for about a year." The 28-year-old Menounos is also an aspiring actress and will star opposite Jamie Kennedy in the upcoming comedy Kickin' It Old Skool. She also appears in Jessica Simpson's new music video "A Public Affair."
A Menounos pal says the actress has had a long-standing crush on Diesel and is thrilled with the progression of the relationship. The source adds, "There's always been an attraction there. (Now) they're taking it to the next level."

The creator of "Scrubs" is writing and directing a prequel to the '80s feature franchise "Fletch," and if he has his way, the show's star Zach Braff will take over Chevy Chase's title role.
The Weinstein Co. has signed Bill Lawrence to adapt Gregory Mcdonald's 1985 comic-mystery novel "Fletch Won," which follows the irreverent detective from his early days as a ne'er-do-well junior newspaper reporter to his partnership with a crime reporter to solve a murder.
Mcdonald's best-sellers were brought to the screen in 1985's "Fletch" and 1989's "Fletch Lives." "Zach is perfect for the role," Lawrence said in an interview from his Los Angeles office, where Braff sat laughing in the background. "I'm going to use all my pull trying to make him do it."
--I love Braff, but NO ONE should try to re-do "Fletch." It's perfection.
Eddie Van Halen has coupled up with porno director Michael Ninn to write and perform two songs for the new Ninn Worx feature, "Sacred Sin." This will be the first time a famous rocker has lent his name to an adult film, AVN.com reports.
The tunes are called "Rise" and "Catherine," a remix of the theme from Ninn's 2005 movie of the same title. Van Halen is not worried he'll be criticized for penning porn music. "I'm working with a friend - very simple. I like his work. Michael Ninn is like Spielberg to me: the imagery, the way he makes things look, just sensual," he said.

CBS has given a pilot order to "The Singing Office," a reality show that will give national exposure to workplace karaoke stars.
In every episode, "Singing Office" surprises the staffers at two companies who are asked to do impromptu singing auditions right.
The best five singers from each office are flown to Hollywood, where they are trained to perform a fully choreographed two-minute song-and-dance number for a studio audience. At the end of the episode, the studio audience chooses the better "singing office," whose team wins a cash prize.
Filming on the pilot is slated to begin in late August. If the project goes to series, its season would conclude with the winning teams from each episode competing in a grand finale to be decided by voting by the TV audience.
Scarlett Johansson sure knows how to score those endorsement deals. First, she was the face of Calvin Klein fragrances (even having her perfume ad appear in her movie The Island), and she's currently representing L'Oreal, but that hasn't stopped Scarlett Johansson from taking a new deal with Reebok, reports The Mirror.
The multi-million [dollar] deal will see the 21-year-old actress design a retro-inspired clothing and footwear range called Scarlett "Hearts" Rbk.
Available next spring, it will be modelled by the Lost in Translation star in a global ad campaign. Reebok president Paul Harrington said: "Scarlett embodies the pulse points of our brand -- individuality, authenticity and a life lived to the full."
Carl M. Brashear, a Kentucky native and the first black U.S. Navy diver, died yesterday. He was 75.
Brashear, who was born and raised in Sonora, was the inspiration for the 2000 film "Men of Honor," in which Cuba Gooding Jr. portrayed him and starred alongside Robert De Niro.
Brashear died at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth of respiratory and heart failure, the medical center said. Brashear retired from the Navy in 1979 after more than 30 years of service. He was the first Navy diver to be restored to full active duty as an amputee.

With little fanfare, Metallica ended their long holdout and made their catalog available on iTunes Tuesday.
In a message on their Web site, the band announced in a post titled, "From the 'It's about f---ing time!' file," that it will offer its entire catalog including, for the first time, individual songs for download on iTunes after years of holding out alongside the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Radiohead.
"Over the last year or so, we have seen an ever-growing number of Metallica fans using online sites like iTunes to get their music," the band wrote. "So, in continuing with the tradition of offering our albums for sale online (which we've been doing for a few years through various sites), as well as making our live concerts available for download in their entirety (through the livemetallica.com site), we are now offering fans the opportunity to obtain our songs individually."
As of Tuesday, the iTunes store began offering the band's entire back catalog of 10 albums for sale, from their 1983 debut, Kill 'Em All, to 2004's Some Kind of Monster EP. As a bonus, previously unreleased live tracks have been added to the first four albums as iTunes bonuses.

Lance Bass, the former 'N Sync heartthrob, reveals that he is gay, in an exclusive interview..
"I knew that I was in this popular band and I had four other guys' careers in my hand, and I knew that if I ever acted on it or even said (that I was gay), it would overpower everything," says Bass, referring to bandmates Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake.
"I didnt know: Could that be the end of N Sync? So I had that weight on me of like, Wow, if I ever let anyone know, it's bad.' So I just never did," he says speaking about his sexual orientation for the first time.
Now, after years of keeping his personal life private, the Mississippi-bred, Southern Baptist-reared Bass, 27, is publicly revealing what he first shared with his friends, then his shocked family. "He took years to really think about how he was going to tell everyone," says his close buddy Fatone, 29, who was the first 'N Sync bandmate to find out Bass is gay. "I back him up 100 percent." Adds Basss longtime pal, actress Christina Applegate: "I've always accepted him as who he is. It's about his own serenity at this point."
Having pursued acting, producing and most memorably space flight after N Sync went on hiatus in 2002, Bass now is looking ahead to new beginnings. He is in a "very stable" relationship with model-actor-Amazing Race winner Reichen Lehmkuhl, 32, and is developing an Odd Couple-inspired sitcom pilot with Fatone in which his character will be gay.
Mostly, though, hes just enjoying the relief that comes with the culmination of a long, at times emotionally fraught journey. "The thing is, Im not ashamed thats the one thing I want to say," he explains of his decision to come out. "I don't think it's wrong, I'm not devastated going through this. I'm more liberated and happy than Ive been my whole life. I'm just happy."
As for why he's talking about this now Bass says, "The main reason I wanted to speak my mind was that (the rumors) really were starting to affect my daily life. Now it feels like it's on my terms. I'm at peace with my family, my friends, myself and God so there's really nothing else that I worry about."

Christie Brinkley's estranged husband has been silent about recent reports that he had an affair with an 18-year-old employee while married to the supermodel. Now his reportedly desperate apology is receiving a very public airing.
"This is an aberration," Peter Cook, 47, said through a lawyer, according to a column by Cindy Adams published Tuesday in the New York Post. "I'm sorry. I'm contrite. I'm stupid. Foolish. No excuse."
Adams wrote that Cook's words were provided to her by his attorney, Norman Sheresky. "I love my wife. ... For a lifetime I've tried to prove how much I love her," Cook said, according to the article.
Sheresky said Cook, the model's fourth husband, is hoping for a reconciliation with Brinkley, 52. He defended Cook as a "man who loves his wife and who loves his children." The couple, who were married in 1996, have an 8-year-old daughter, Sailor. Cook adopted Brinkley's son, Jack, now 11, from her marriage to Richard Taubman. Brinkley's publicist, Elliot Mintz, told The Associated Press early Tuesday that he didn't believe she would issue a response.
The couple's separation exploded in scandal earlier this month when Diana Bianchi, now 19, claimed Cook had seduced her shortly after hiring her to work at his architecture firm. Her lawyer, Joseph Tacopina, described the relationship as consensual, but claimed Cook's role as employer and his gifts of a car, money and jewelry could possibly constitute sexual harassment.
According to the report, Sheresky said Cook would respect Brinkley's wishes, whatever the result. "He hopes there's no divorce. IF she wants one, and he certainly hopes this doesn't happen, but IF - it will not be nasty," Sheresky said, according to the Post. "She can have whatever she wants."
It seems as if Christie's daughter will support the divorce if it happens:
Christie Brinkley's daughter, Alexa Joel, won't be sorry if her mother doesn't bite at Peter Cook's "take me back" plea reported by Cindy Adams yesterday.
Hamptons sources say Cook, Brinkley's fourth husband, wasn't exactly a doting stepfather to the 20-year-old fledgling musician. "He's been very cold and mean to her," one insider told The Post's Braden Keil. "It's the main reason why she moved out when she was just 17." Their last argument occurred when Brinkley and Billy Joel's daughter, who didn't drive, called the Bridgehampton manse for a lift home at 11 p.m.
Cook allegedly refused, told her to "walk home" and "never call this house at this time of night again." Alexa has been living in Manhattan ever since.
Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston are headed for a permanent break-up reports NW Magazine.
Stories of trouble in the pairs relationship are widespread, but doubt remains over who is the driving force behind the split. One source alleges that Vince is pulling the plug, while another claims its really Jennifer, 37, who wants out.
A report published suggests that Vince, 36, is being pressured by his mum Sharon to end the romance. Sharon reportedly believes Jens on the rebound from Brad and doesnt truly love her son. [Sharon] told him that if he married Jen, hed be in for a world of heartbreak, says a source. Sharon said they needed to take a break so Jen could find closure with Brad.
After listening to Sharons advice, Vince reportedly called off their secret nuptials. He told Jen they need to take a breather, the source adds.
But pals of the former Friends star say its Jennifer whos calling it off after becoming fed up with Vinces party-hard lifestyle. During a recent trip to Mexico, the couple clashed over the actors boorish behavior. She says he acted like a jerk, staying up all night with his friends, drinking and smoking, one of Jens mates reveals. It dawned on her that this isnt the kind of man she wants to marry. The fact is, she dumped Vince.

Madonna demands a brand new toilet seat at every concert she plays. The Hung Up singer is said to be so paranoid about germs she has requested that her dressing room toilets are fitted with a fresh seat for every night of her Confessions world tour.
A source revealed to Daily Mirror newspaper: "The seat has to be inspected by her people, then installed - with an unbroken seal - by plumbers before every gig."
Madonna's spokesperson Liz Rosenburg has defended her seemingly outrageous demands. She said: "Who wouldn't want a new toilet seat wherever they go." The bizarre request is just one of many of the singer's crazy tour demands. She also requires three candles to protect her from negative vibes and mean-spiritedness, a relaxing foot spa complete with lavender and camomile body soak, plenty of Kabbalah water, and a love seat.
Madonna, 47, also insists her dressing room is covered with white drapes and white roses - the symbolic colour of her Kabbalah faith.
The iconic black dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 film "Breakfast at Tiffany's" will go on sale in December with an estimated price tag of 50-70,000 pounds ($90-130,000), Christie's auctioneers said on Wednesday.
The dress, designed by Givenchy and worn by Hepburn in the memorable opening scene of the classic romantic comedy, is being auctioned on behalf of the City of Joy Aid charity which helps underprivileged children in India.
It is the star lot of the annual film and entertainment sale at Christie's, in London's upmarket South Kensington, held this year on December 5.
Hepburn, who plays Holly Golightly in the movie, emerges from a cab onto a deserted, early-morning 5th Avenue in New York and peers through the window of jeweller Tiffany's while she eats her breakfast from a brown paper bag.

Larry Hagman, Brooke Shields and Rosie O'Donnell are among the celebrities set for guest roles on "Nip/Tuck" this season.
The Golden Globe-winning drama about two Miami plastic surgeons who are best friends and business partners returns for its fourth season Sept. 5 on Fox. Sanaa Lathan ("Love and Basketball") will appear in 12 episodes as a woman who buys the surgeons' practice. Hagman plays her much-older husband.
"I met with him, and I remember it was fun because when I was a kid I used to baby-sit my brother while watching `Dallas,'" show creator Ryan Murphy told the Television Critics Association's summer meeting Tuesday. "All he kept saying in that first meeting was, `Do I get to have sex with her? Do I get to have sex with her?' And I said, `You came to the right show,'" Murphy said of Hagman.
Other guest stars announced Tuesday will be Catherine Deneuve, Richard Chamberlain, Kathleen Turner, Jacqueline Bisset, Melissa Gilbert and Peter Dinklage.
Deneuve will play a woman who wants her husband's cremated ashes put in her breast implants, Murphy said. O'Donnell has been publicly outspoken against plastic surgery.

Actress Mo'Nique was thrown off a plane after arguing with a flight attendant who the TV star alleges was racist towards her.
The disagreement broke out after the 38-year-old's stylist stashed a hair dryer in a first class baggage locker. While the Phat Girlz actress was flying in luxury, her aide was in economy class. The flight attendant allegedly said to Mo'Nique, "Tell your people that the next time they have an attitude, they are being thrown off ... Since 9/11, we don't play around."
The spat resulted in the small screen star - full name Mo'Nique Imes-Hicks - being escorted back to Chicago's O'Hare Airport where, according to the actress, a supervisor called local police. Mo'Nique tells the New York Daily News, "I felt like I was being treated like an animal. This happens to black people all the time, and they don't have a voice. It was humiliating."
Jean Medina, a spokeswoman for United Airlines, says, "We regret Ms. Imes felt in any way that she was not treated with courtesy and respect. There was a confrontation involving a customer that caused the flight to be delayed. When a situation occurs on a flight that causes a delay, or disruption, we must act in the best interest of all our customers."
Elizabeth Hurley will be showing off her assets in Jordache Jeans. The print ads will begin running in September through the end of the year. She replaces last year's spokes-model, Brittany Murphy.
"We are thrilled to be working with Elizabeth Hurley," Liz Berlinger, president of Jordache Enterprises, said in a statement. "With success as an actress, model, business woman and mother, Liz represents everything the Jordache brand is about. We chose her because she is the true modern woman."
The professional poser will be pimping out the '70s denim brand's Vintage line, as well as the new Legacy line, the latter of which will be available exclusively at Macy's nationwide.

All-time "Jeopardy!" champ Ken Jennings has emerged from the "Where Are They Now?" shadows to bite the hand that fed him $2.5 million just a short time ago.
In a snarky "Dear Jeopardy!" letter posted on his Web site, ken-jennings.com, the winningest contestant ever needles the game show for being out of step and out of date. He calls the show's categories "effete, left-coast crap nobody's heard of" and even snipes at show host Alex Trebek.
"I know, I know, the old folks love him," Jennings writes about Trebek. "Nobody knows he died in that fiery truck crash a few years back and was immediately replaced with the Trebektron 4000. "You know how Trebek likes to read foreign words in these thick, strained accents, thinking he's being muy autentico? "He should continue to do this, but instead of delivering them himself, he needs to have a little ventriloquist's dummy with a sombrero to pipe in with those words."
Jennings spends most of his "letter" talking about the show's over-the-hill feel. He also proves that he can use the word "polyethylene" in a sentence - twice. "You're like the Dorian Gray of syndication. You seem to think 'change' means replacing a blue polyethylene backdrop with a slightly different shade of blue polyethylene backdrop every presidential election or so."
Jennings, a software engineer from Salt Lake City, made headlines in 2004 when he reeled off 74 consecutive "Jeopardy!" victories while amassing $2.5 million - both show records.
That doesn't stop him, however, from bashing the show. "I mean, wake me up when you come up with something that middle America actually cares about," he says of the show's question categories. Jennings goes on to scold the show's décor - "damn electric blue everywhere . . . Was that hip in 1984?" - and needles the show's viewers - "median age of 'Jeopardy's' viewership: 91."

REM are set to release a new best of compilation 'And I Feel Fine' on September 11.
The double album will be anthology of the bands recordings on the IRS label, to which the band were signed to between 1983 - 1987. The discs will contain unreleased material, live songs and rarities. The band will also release 'When The Light Is Mine', a DVD containing music videos and TV performances.
R.E.M original line up of Michael Stipe, Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Bill Berry were all involved in choosing the tracks, Billboard reports.
"This is a good history lesson on the days of yore when the band first started out and were writing sometimes 2 - 3 songs a day, many of which became classics, and some of which were lost in the mists of tape and time and vault, " explained the band's manager Bertis Down.
Additionally, the band will be inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on September 16 in Atlanta.
