Electra and Foxx?

Carmen Electra seemed to be enjoying her newly single status with Jamie Foxx the other night.

The duo arrived together at Hollywood hot spot Element to catch a "surprise" performance by Gnarls Barkley. "Jamie's arm was around Carmen more than once and whispers were exchanged several times," tattles our spy. "No one saw them kissing, but they left together out the back. It seemed like they were out on a date." Electra, who was not wearing her wedding ring, announced her separation from hubby Dave Navarro last week.

Farrell Stalker Approaches Him

Apparently the author of Colin Farrell: A Dark Twisted Puppy had more to give the actor last week than a copy of her latest magnum opus.

Dessarae Bradford, who unexpectedly approached Farrell during a Tonight Show taping Thursday and left a copy of her self-published tell-all on Jay Leno's desk before being escorted out of the building, announced Monday that she had been trying to serve the 30-year-old Irishman with court papers.

Whatever she was trying to do, Farrell didn't much appreciate it. First he joked to Leno that he had just met his first stalker. Then he obtained a temporary restraining order against her the next day, compelling her to stay at least 150 yards away from him; his son, James; and James' mother, model Kim Bordenave.

On the other hand, Bradford wrote on her personal Website after the incident that she is "not stalking Colin Farrell," but in fact is "too self-absorbed to ever stalk anyone."

"I am telling the truth," she continued, directing her comments at the media. "Colin and his handlers are lying...If you all don't start checking more thoroughly what Colin's people are saying you will be unknowingly, yet viciously lying to your viewers, readers and listeners, not to mention destroying my name, and my life."

Bradford sued Farrell in December 2004 and again in July 2005 in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging he had stalked her with phone calls and profane, smutty text messages. After her initial claims proved to be too small even for small-claims court, the 31-year-old woman re-sued the Miami Vice star for $10 million in U.S. District Court in May, adding slander to the original harassment allegation. A federal judge has since ordered her to produce clear evidence why this suit shouldn't be tossed out, as well.

Jake To Play Lance?

Jake Gyllenhaal and Lance Armstrong are hanging at the Tour De France together because the actor is the leading contender to play the cyclist in a Sony bio pic being quietly developed.

On Sunday, the two sat in a Paris hotel together with friends as American Floyd Landis stood on the podium after winning the 2006 Tour de France. Needless to say, the European press went into a speculation frenzy when the Lance and Jake first showed up together.

As Saturday's all-important Individual Time Trial began, Jake joined the seven-time TdF winner in the Discovery team car for a ride-along as Lance protégé Yaroslav Popovych pedalled away. (Lance's Discovery team faltered without him this TdF, but Landis of Phonak took the yellow jersey and eventually won the overall race). Earlier in the day, Lance met with the Tour de France organizers to lessen the tension. Armstrong, his agent Bill Stapleton, Discovery sports manager Johan Bruyneel, and Tour de France Directors Jean Marie Blanc and Christian Prudhomme had what insiders called "a heart-to-heart discussion" aboard the Discovery bus.

"The meeting went well," Bill Stapleton said later. "Everyone left with a feeling of mutual respect." Obviously the Tour's assistance, while not required, would be helpful to the bio-pic. Gyllenhaal and Armstrong have become pals during Jake's method process to get to know the sports legend. The actor of Brokeback Mountain and Jarhead fame is even a long-time cyclist and has begun training for the film.

Armstrong is no stranger to Hollywood: Robin Williams used to join Lance in the Alps while Armstrong was defending his Tour titles. And Armstrong hangs with Matthew McConaughey whenever the cyclist is in Los Angeles.

Celebrity Justice

Veteran rockers Steely Dan have accused Owen Wilson of plagiarizing their song "Cousin Dupree" for his new comedy movie You, Me And Dupree.

In a letter posted on their website and addressed to Wilson's brother Luke, band members Donald Fagen and Walter Becker label Wilson's supposed rip-off of their 2001 Grammy-winning track as "uncool."

They write: "Your brother has gotten himself mixed up with some pretty bad Hollywood schlockmeisters." Wilson plays slacker Dupree, who becomes an unwelcome guest of his pal Matt Dillon and his wife Kate Hudson - and Fagen and Becker draw parallels with their Randolph Dupree character, a traveling musician who "comes back home to plan (his) next move from the comfort of (his) Aunt Faye's couch."

They continue: "When it came time to change the character's name so people wouldn't know what a rip the whole thing was, they didn't even bother to think up a new name for the guy."

Hoff: The Musical?

David Hasselhoff is to star in a musical based on his life.

The show will be inspired by the 54-year-old's career, soap opera 'The Young and The Restless' and the songs of Teddy Pendergrass.

Hasselhoff, who has battled alcoholism, is quoted by website Celebrityweek.com as saying: "I am doing a heart-rendering set on my life and the mistakes I have made. "It sounds like a bad joke, but it is really going to be a good show... totally campy."

He added: "It's written by the same people who wrote Bette Midler's show and produced by the people who produced 'Chicago' in London." The production - simply called 'David Hasselhoff: The Musical' - will open in Melbourne, Australia, before moving to America.

Hatch Goes To Jail

Richard Hatch has been sent to a federal prison in Oklahoma as he serves a 51-month sentence for failing to pay taxes on the $1 million he won on the debut season of Survivor.

Hatch, 45, of Newport, arrived last week at the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City. It wasn't immediately clear why Hatch was moved or whether he will serve out his prison sentence at the facility, which is a hub for prisoners transferring through the federal system.

A federal jury convicted Hatch in January of failing to pay taxes on the Survivor prize and other income. He was sentenced in May to 51 months in prison by a judge who said the reality TV star had lied repeatedly on the witness stand.

Hatch had previously been held at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility in Massachusetts. He would prefer to serve his sentence near family in Rhode Island or in Florida, said his lawyer, Michael Minns.

"He should be in a camp," Minns said. "The camps are the most comfortable of the uncomfortable. They are still jails, but they get to see the sky and be outside. It's bad for Richard, who is an outdoor person."

Jerk

Luke Wilson admits he's a real horror show when it comes to breaking up with girls.

"Even if I want out, I don't have the guts to just leave," the star of "My Super Ex-Girlfriend," who has dated Drew Barrymore and Gwyneth Paltrow, told Howard Stern on Sirius Satellite Radio. "I just start acting really surly and cranky until they leave me. I don't think anything's over the line when you want out. You see the fence, and you just start running for it."

Asked how long he has to act like a heel before a paramour flees in disgust, Wilson says, "I'd say you need 90 days. It's almost like double time, though, because three months feels like six months because you're so horrible to be with."

--What a jerk.

What A Nice Guy

Leonardo DiCaprio, who plays the hero in movies, was a real hero to two wheelchair-bound Madonna fans the other night.

Francesco Clark, 28, - who worked at Harper's Bazaar until a car accident left him a quadriplegic and now runs the Clark's BoTanicles skin-care company - had front-row seats to one of Madge's shows at the Garden last week thanks to his pal, Harper's Bazaar creative director Stephen Gan.

But when Madonna came onstage, the crowd rushed forward and Clark's wheelchair was nearly knocked over. "He couldn't see anything because people were all standing around him," said Clark's pal, WWD writer Elisa Lipsky-Karasz. "He tried to move to the front, but no one would budge, and nobody cared. Then the security guard came over and was being rude and told him to move." At that point, DiCaprio came over and said, "Why don't you come sit with me and I'll just move over?"

The star was at the end of the catwalk in front of a no-standing zone. Moments later, DiCaprio moved another wheelchair-bound person in next to Clark, saving her view as well.

Keira Knightley has a major relationship with her acne, and she's not afraid to talk about it.

Explaining to Elle.com about how her ex-boyfriends beef about her working too much, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star adds, "The other main complaint would probably be, 'Don't squeeze your spots,' which I'm afraid has been a big thing for me for a while. I get a load of zits, and I'm always squeezing them in the bathroom mirror."

SNL Losing Some Stars

Tina Fey is leaving the anchor chair at "Saturday Night Live."

Fey says she's quitting the show after six seasons as head writer and co-anchor of the "Weekend Update" fake news segment to focus on her new NBC prime-time series, "30 Rock," which debuts Oct. 11.

"I'm out of the fake news business now," Fey told the Television Critics Association's summer meeting Saturday. She announced her "SNL" departure on Friday night's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." "If you're asking if I'm happy about it, no," said Lorne Michaels, executive producer of "30 Rock" and "SNL." "Tina disappearing is a huge hole in the writing staff." Michaels said various individuals and duos would be tested in September to decide who will replace Fey on the "Weekend Update" segment.

Also leaving "SNL" is regular Rachel Dratch, who plays a sketch actress on Fey's new sitcom about a fictional late-night show. Fey, 36, first joined "SNL" as a writer in 1997 and became head writer in 1999. She is writing, starring and executive producer of her new show.

"I'm going to go nuts," she said Saturday. "I do not understand the train that is about to hit me. We're trying to get as much done in the writers' room now before we start and I tried to gather a staff of writers who are experienced so they can proceed when I'm on the set."

"30 Rock" also stars Alec Baldwin and former "SNL" regular Tracy Morgan.

Some Serious Tequila

Forget the salt and lime, you'll need a mint to enjoy this tequila. Producer Tequila Ley .925 announced Saturday that it has sold a bottle of Mexico's best-known beverage in a gold and platinum casing for a whopping $225,000

"This is a really unique bottle of tequila and our client, a U.S.-based collector of fine wines and spirits, will treasure this prize to add to an already impressive collection," said company CEO Fernando Altamirano in a news release. The buyer's name was not disclosed.

Altamirano said he is applying to the Guinness Book of Records claiming he has sold the most expensive bottle of liquor ever, but the book has to ratify the claim. Tequila, made from agave, a blue cactus-like plant native to Western Mexico, sells for as little $10 a bottle and was traditionally the drink of farmers and laborers.

However, in recent years its profile has risen dramatically and it has gained fans on all corners of the globe. Earlier this month, UNESCO added the blue agave-growing region to the World Heritage list.

The record-breaking bottle was part of a new range of luxury tequilas unveiled by Tequila Ley last week. Named "Aztec Passion Limited Edition," it was cased in 4.4 pounds of gold and platinum.

--So true. You can't listen to a hip hop song these days and not hear about Patron. It's the new Cristal.
