Oscar-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones is joining the all-star cast of the upcoming sequel to Warner Bros.' hit caper film "Ocean's 11," the studio said on Tuesday.

Producer Jerry Weintraub said Zeta-Jones will play an agent of an Interpol-style police agency, with George Clooney reprising his role as Danny Ocean, a veteran thief who led a gang of multitalented associates in a heist of three Las Vegas casinos in the last film.

In the globe-trotting modern sequel to be shot in Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Monte Carlo, Ocean enlists his former cronies and one new member of the team to pull off yet another heist.

I LOVED the first one, and I can't wait until this one comes out. I sure hope it's not the typical sequel letdown.

Could the cast be any more good looking? DAMN!

Watching "Where in the world is Matt Lauer?" every morning has made me REALLY want to travel internationally.

Monday--He was in Africa--absolutely gorgeous. I was so jealous of his elephant ride.

Tuesday--Matt was hitting the slopes of the Swiss Alps.

Today--He was chatting it up with Jackie Chan in Hong Kong.

Can't say that I want to travel those miles in such a quick amount of time, but OH, I'd love to go to ANY of those places!

Justin Timberlake has landed himself a movie role. He will be seen in "Edison," a drama about a cop, a criminal and the reporter who keeps the lines of communication between them open. And, while thinking about Justin Timberlake acting is comical by itself, the story gets better.

Justin's co-stars are Oscar-caliber actors Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman.

I'd love to see their faces at the movie's first script reading.

There are so many "hot" diets right now. I feel like almost everyone I know is, or has been on Atkins or South Beach. Dick Norlander proposes his new diet: "Bud Light 2004 Diet."

Some of his reasoning for this diet working includes:

The average diet recommends a daily caloric intake of 1,200 calories for women, 1,500 for men, if you want to lose the medically safe two to three pounds a week. On the “Dick's Bud Light Diet Plan,” that equates to at least 12 beers a day for women and 15 for men. A realistic goal.

The alcohol in beer is a diuretic, which causes the water to flush out almost immediately, leading to a consistent workout regimen including deep knee bends (getting out of the chair), fast walking (very good for your heart) and squats (depending if you're male or female.

Drinking beer actually helps you sleep – even when you aren't necessarily tired. All that added rest is certain to help any problems you may have experienced in sleep deprivation counting calories on those other fad diets.

In addition, you may experience the occasional “How did I get here?” Syndrome when you wake up, which always makes for lively conversation, and possibly additional exercise if you have to sneak out and run home.

A few thoughts regarding tonight's "Sex and the City"--

My distaste for Dance Man grows. The man doesn't believe in compromise.

They are making Charlotte a huge moron this year. It's sad to see what the writers are reducing her character to.

Still love Miranda.

Carrie's clothes were actually decent in this episode.

And the point of the coke-head plummeting out of the window was? Potential lawsuit against Manolo there.

And we all know who ELSE is in Paris...

Well, the law school talent show was a smashing success. We had WAY more people than expected. (Which is a good thing in terms of raising money for our designated charity, but was a bad thing in terms of the caterers running out of alcohol). In the caterers' defense though, I gave them a number that was higher than last year, but not NEARLY high enough.

We had a large variety of performers: a couple of bands, and all women jazz-singing group, some Broadway favorites, skits, a movie, etc.

It was so good to finally hear Professor Cooper sing for real! He did a great job!

Josh did an amazing and hysterical imitation of our Australian Dean. See the picture, here.

Kelly Pautler and I sang "I Still Believe" from Miss Saigon. I think it went pretty well--my friends said it sounded good. (But of course, what are they going to say?). Kelly also sang "As If We Never Said Goodbye" from Sunset Boulevard--it was phenomenal!

I'm kind of sad--it's my last one. But, I really think the event is going to take off and only get better in the future. I look forward to being a spectator next year. We raised almost $1000, and I'm very pleased about that.

Professor Wilkins, the emcee and adviser to the show bought another co-chair and me TWELVE long-stem red roses to thank us. They are so beautiful! I've never received flowers in a box so big in my life--it came up past my hip!

Whew! It was great time.

Exhausted because I went to bed at 4:30 a.m.

Can't sleep in because the second draft of my law review paper is due tomorrow, and I have much work to do on it.

Delightfully warm because of my giant cup of Starbuck's that I brewed AND because of my glorious heat being fixed.

Working hard so I can watch a bit of the Grammys and "Sex and the City" tonight.

The show went GREAT! (I'll blog about it tomorrow).

HOWEVER..............

I get home from going out with friends to arrive to an apartment WITH NO HEAT!! (In case you're wondering, it's 20 degrees outside and 58 degrees inside). That may be acceptable to some if you "real men" out there...BUT I AM SHAKING I'M SO COLD!

The best part? I call the maintenance people and they can't be here for TWO HOURS!!

It's gonna be a long night...

Blogging will most likely be light today. I'm about to head downtown to begin setting up for "Law Revue-2004"--a.k.a the law school's talent show. We've got a stage to set up, banner to hang, chairs to place, etc. We're doing a run of the show at 1 pm and then showtime at 7 pm. Professors, staff, and students are participating.

Combine 2 1/4 cups currant vodka, 1 1/4 cups champagne, 3/4 cup raspberry schnapps and 1/4 cup lime juice in an ice-filled shaker. Shake well and strain into prepared glasses. Garnish with thin lime rounds.
