Britney Spears has again sparked concern her marriage to Kevin Federline is in trouble, after she was photographed shopping without her wedding ring on.

The singer was indulging in a bit of retail therapy in Malibu, California, on Saturday, when she was spotted not wearing the ring in pictures published in British tabloid newspapers today.

An onlooker says, "Britney didn't look very happy as she shopped for flowers and was chatting away on her phone."

1 Umm .. this is the exact same picture as the one you posted on Friday ... only Kevin is cut out. He's standing right next to her, pushing another cart. ?????????? Why is this a story if they were together shopping? I'm going to guess she was having it cleaned or something ....

2 The pic didn't go w/ the story. It was just what I picked out to put w/ the story. So, Kev was not w/ her this past weekend when she was shopping w/out her ring. Didn't realize I'd already used it. Sowwwy.
