Caskco?

Why pay too much for a casket? Get yours at Costco!

You can buy baby food, groceries, computers, furniture and a whole host of things at Costco — now you can even find caskets at some of its stores.

The world's largest warehouse club operator said Tuesday it began a test program that offers caskets at two of its Chicago area stores.

1 Yea I saw that on the news last evening and thought, "Now that is just not right!" Not only is it somewhat morbid but I think it would prompt more people to just bury someone themselves when they die. :S

2 Have you priced a casket lately? I say, bring on the competition! Death is part of life and it shouldn't cost a survivor 10k + to bury a loved one.

3 Let's not forget that you can buy a casket (or kasket) for your favorite KISS fan.

4 I'd buy a casket there... I need a new coffee table.

5 Actually, I'm with Nanc' on this one. When their dad died, one of my friend's sibs got together and built his casket. I'm sure the mortuary hated it, but it was beautiful, and a loving tribute to their dad.
