I worked at a place about seven years ago where I caught a misspelled word on a resume. I showed it to the hiring manager. That resume went directly into the garbage can.
That's why we all use spell-check, right? Well, I *did* get a job once, despite listing my starting hire date as "May 20001." Go figure.
