Sheryl Crow claims she's still good friends with ex-boyfriend Eric Clapton.

The singer, who is now engaged to cycling champ Lance Armstrong, insists she still maintains a good relationship with the rock legend. She revealed: "I did have a relationship with Eric Clapton, though we were never engaged as was reported. He's a good friend now. I'm friends with lots of people I've dated."

Sheryl, who once dated actor Owen Wilson, also says Eric was a mentor to her, as is Bob Dylan. She added to Britain's You magazine: "Like Eric, Bob Dylan has also been a great mentor and invited me to sing with him. It doesn't get any better than that."
