Holistic goddess and actress Gwyneth Paltrow hates watching herself in movies because she is convinced she can't act.

The Sun reports that the Oscar winner's hang up goes so deep that she runs from the theater or switches television channels rather than catching herself onscreen. "It just makes me freak out and think how terrible I am and how awful my voice sounds," Paltrow told NBC News.

The new mom and partner of Coldplay front man Chris Martin claims the condition worsens when she appears alongside actors she admires. "I remember doing The Talented Mr Ripley, and Matt Damon really needed to see what he was doing, " Paltrow explained. "He was so good in that film that it made me wish I didn't repulse myself so much, because maybe I could be learning what he's learning."
