Gwyneth Doesn't Want Apple to Be a Freak

Not that naming your baby Apple has anything to do with it, but Gwyneth Paltrow seems to be overly concerned about her baby becoming a "freak." Contactmusic.com reports that Paltrow is working to make sure she does not become overbearing with her child's eating habits.

"Right now Apple is young and I control what she eats. It's all very healthy," Paltrow said. "But she's her own person and I will respect who she is. If she doesn't want to be vegetarian or she wants to eat hydrogenated oils and fairy cakes at birthday parties, that's fine."

The health-conscious mom adds, "I'm not going to be a controlling over-protective hippy. We live in the world we do. I don't want her to be a freak."

1 I don't really get the correlation between what a child eats and being, "a freak." I guess I need Gwyneth to 'splain it to me.

2 If you didn't want you kid to be a freak then you shouldn't have named her APPLE. If the kid ends up chunky then people will call her "The Big Apple". And that's all mom's fault.

3 Well, the possiblity of being teased because of her name could send the poor kid into a spiraling depression and drowning her sorrows in "fairy cakes."
