Taylor Hicks is well-acquainted with Alabama bars: He's spent most of his adult life singing in them — and he's even spent some time locked up behind them!

American Idol's gray-haired soul stylist recently admitted in an interview that he'd been arrested for marijuana possession while in college. "The charges were dismissed," said Hicks, 29 — but not before he was booked into an Alabama jail cell.
