5 Reminds me of one of the first times I was going to cook for my hubby and this was before we married. I had planned a roast, potatoes, vegetables....nice meal....well I always remembered reeing my mother take the roast cover it in flour and brown it in the pot well I did not realize all she was doing was just that and then she covered it in water and and turned it down and allowed it to cook slowly for a couple of hours.....get this I thought you fried it....to say the least he came over for pizza. I had already told him what to expect to eat so when he asked of course you could smell it he laughed and laughed......He sure did not marry me because I could cook....and he still cooks as good as I can..
