"I Promise I Eat"


Teen star Lindsay Lohan has hit back at fans who signed an online petition entitled 'Please Lindsay, Eat' insisting puberty is to blame for her dramatic weight-loss.

The Mean Girls star is furious at claims she is starving herself and maintains her family keep a watchful eye on her fluctuating figure. She says, "I've lost weight because I'm 19 years old and only went through puberty a year ago. I work out, eat healthily and avoid junk food."

"Trust me, my mother would kill me if I did anything stupid. "

1 I must have been an early bloomer then. Because I hit puberty at 12, along with the rest of my friends. Who does she think she's kidding?

3 I agree with Jen in that my friends and I all hit puberty between 11 and 13. When I hit 16, I got really thin due to being so busy working, playing, going out, and running around that I didn't bother to eat much. Maybe that's what's going on with L.L. but I suspect she's starving or barfing.

7 Hold on---she went through puberty at the age of 18?? I think I gained weight when I went through it at 11 or 12. And c'mon--working out does not make one look emaciated. Not eating does.

12 Wait, wtf? She blamed poo-berty for her boobs, now she's saying it's causing her to be skinny? Uh, last I read, it makes you pack on pounds in the hips and rack for childbearing purposes, not make you look like some bleach dipped ethiopian reject.
