Maroon 5 star Adam Levine and British singer Natasha Bedingfield have reportedly struck up a romance.

Their friendship is said to have blossomed after the musical pair spent time together in New York while Bedingfield was recording her new album.

A friend close to the couple says, "Their friendship started to flourish while she was there". Levine's previous romances include Russian tennis beauty Maria Sharapova and actress Natalie Portman.
