I think she should have added: The Evening Star,(sequel to Terms of Endearment) You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle, and Cross Creek (based on the life of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings).

Did not realize that I have seen so many chick flicks! Both Rebecca and Eve's Bayou are currently in my Netflix queue. I would not have classified Laurel Canyon as a chick flick though - must be because of the strong women characters.
