Rawson Marshall Thurber has agreed to write and direct a big screen adaptation of 1980s TV show Magnum, P.I., according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Starring Tom Selleck, the series followed the adventures of private investigator Thomas Magnum who was hired to oversee security at the beachfront mansion of professional writer Robin Masters.
Thurber's (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story) version is said to be of a similar style to the series, with the plot seeing Magnum in search of a missing friend.
--Ok gang...who should reprise Selleck's role?
