Pitt Passes on ITAS

Hollywood heart-throb Brad Pitt turned down the chance to star in critical chat show Inside The Actors Studio because he doesn't think he's experienced enough.

Modest Pitt was invited by James Lipton to review his film career and discuss his acting methods on the Bravo program, when his blockbuster Troy came out this summer. According to American gossip site Pagesix.Com, Pitt said that he didn't have a "sufficient body of work".

--I gotta say this earns major points for him in my book. It seems as though he truly cares about the craft of acting, and less about the notariety that goes along with it.

1 Maybe he just didn't want to have his ass kissed by that suck-up, James Lipton. Not to mentiong....HE HAD JENNIFER FREAKING LOPEZ ON THAT SHOW! That, alone, tells me this show is no longer about "the craft."

2 The J.Lo and Ben Affleck series were an absolute blow to Lipton's credibility. I did agree with Drew Barrymore as a selection, contrary to most others. She's had quite a career dating back to "E.T."

3 Wow, for some reason, readin' all of this got me to wonderin' if Drew Barrymore and Brad Pitt had ever done a picture together. It turns out they have and it is one I have yet to see. I'll now have to look for it. Confessions of a Dangerous Mind
