Next week, designers Nicole Miller, Heatherette, Miguel Pena, and Lloyd Klein collaborate with wheelchair-bound women to discuss the first-ever wheelchair fashion show. Sponsored by Discovery Through Design and the MUSE organization, the meeting will plan for Rolling With Style, a February Â’06 benefit featuring designer wheelchairs and wheelchair-friendly fashion by New York designers.

Discovery Through Design is an organization rewarding the accomplishments of wheelchair-bound women. Founded by four women with spinal injuries, the group aids women with paralysis and other debilitating injuries by promoting creativity and increased quality of life—including cuter wheelchairs.
