I support it too, but the guy that said the speed people drive at won't increase is full of it.
Most people have a speeding comfort zone. Mine is about 9 mph over the speed limit. Raise it to 70 and I'll drive 79. Hell raise it to 80 and I'll still drive 89.

I don't know. Many folks have a comfort speed, not a comfort zone above the limit. If they raise it to 75 and people are still doing 90 then just enforce the speed limit. Problem solved.

As a resident living along a rural section of the interstate [which happens to be the most dangerous stretch of roadway in the state], I'm not sure this is a good idea. It's not just bringing the limit up to what people already drive, but will just be an excuse for people to drive faster.

Add me to the "Amen chorus" on this...seems silly to be stuck at 65 when Tennessee, Alabama and (?) Kentucky are already at 70.
