A new reality show has people asking men, "Just how fast ARE your little guys?"

Television producers in Europe were criticized yesterday over reports that they are developing a reality show in which men would compete for a chance to father a child and then take part in an on-air "sperm race".

In the show, which has been mooted by the company that makes Big Brother, up to 1,000 men would attempt to convince a woman to pick them as the father of her first child by impressing her with their intelligence, sex appeal and fitness.

A second sperm donor would be chosen on the basis of genetic compatibility, and the two finalists would then take part in the sperm race in which the insemination process could be filmed using new technology.

1 I know I'm not alone out here when I say I'm not above enjoying the occasional reality TV program. I still love Survivor, but I was hoping the trend of new reality TV shows would have tapered off by now. It's just getting worse and worse. I think I wrote on my own blog page awhile ago that it's gotten so bad that I wouldn't be surprised if some Fox TV media whore announces they're adding the new reality TV show, "I'm Going To Punch Your Balls Off" as a mid-season replacement. I would, however, pay to see those flake-ass Hilton Sisters tarred, feathered, and deported. *pant, pant, pant* There. I feel better now. Sorry for the rant. I'll try not to trash the place again. :-)

4 Thanks for the blank check on ranting. It's always best to clear these things through the owner of the establishment before I go turning over tables and chairs and tossing TVs into pools and such. :-)

5 The Hilton Sisters and Nicole Ritchie tarred, feathered, and deported???? That would be the one time I would be willing to watch reality tv. I have one question about the 'insemination process,' are we talking something normal and natural or in a test tube? One is a NOVA special, the other is porn.
