Top 10 Business Movies

MSNBC.com has compiled a list of the top 10 business movies.

Which one of their top choices is your favorite?
"The Magnificent Ambersons"

"It's a Wonderful Life"

"The Solid Gold Cadillac"

"Desk Set"

"The Apartment"

"How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying"

"The Godfather, Parts I and II"

"Working Girl"

"Glengarry Glen Ross"

"Office Space"

--Ooooh, that's a toughy for me. The acting in "Glengarry Glen Ross" is simply superb. "Working Girl" is a great cheer-for-the-underdog movie. "Office Space" wins high marks with me for humor and accuracy. And what's there to say about "The Godfather" that hasn't already been said. And as for "It's a Wonderful Life," I think I'm the only one on the planet that doesn't really care for that movie. I think I'm going to have to go with "Working Girl."

1 YOU don't like It's a Wonderful Life???? No egg nog for you!!! :-p Glengarry Glen Ross is an interesting movie to watch, because it is so dialogue driven. Though I haven't ever seen the play, the movie felt very much like a play.

2 It;s a Wonderful Life is great. Except the colorized version, that gives me a headache. The Godfather is the best. Too bad I can't run my family business that way.

3 I'll have to go for Office Space. As for It's a Wonderful Life? That movie blows.

4 I'd also add "Clockwatchers" to that list, and possibly "Trading Places."

5 How can you guys not like It's a Wonderful Life? It was replayed to much around the holidays in years past, but that is only because it is a fantastic movie!

7 You know, Jeff...I was thinking the same thing today.

12 "Office Space"... hands down! And, you're not alone, I hated "It's A Wonderful Life" too.

13 It's A Wonderful Life would have been a great movie if Harold the Angel had arrived 5 minutes later. That level of wasted film wasn't equalled until Forrest Gump. Yeesh

14 So right, Jeff. So right.

15 Office Space. It is sadly depicts the world too accurately! I've worked in places like that and had bosses like that. No red Swingline stapler though!

16 Office Space and The Godfather!!! YAY!

17 I've got to agree on the "Wall Street" commentary. Otherwise, Glengarry & Godfather, hands down. Office Space was funny, but just not the same caliber.
