1 Wow. I'm impressed that Night Court was considered the third best. That was one of my favorites. It was edgy and very, very funny. The A Team wasn't a sitcom in the true sense. It was a fun, entertaining and often funny show, but not a sitcom. Just sayin'. :-)

3 I liked Night Court and the early Cheers, but I'm biting my tongue not to make a comment about the sexual preference of the men who responded. Geez, and no Facts of Life, either?

4 Despite the occasional snappy remark from Murdock, or Hannnibal's quips, thje A-team was not a situational comedy, and thus not fit for this list. It was, however, the HANDS-Down best show of the eighties (okay, MacGuyver would be a close second, with Knight Rider rounding out the top three).
