Mob relations aside, don't mess with Victoria Gotti. The curvy blonde raises three teenage boys by herself (ex-husband Carmine Agnello is in jail for racketeering and tax evasion) and cooks and cares for their huge Long Island home. She is the author of five books, a columnist at the celebrity publication "Star" and is starting her own magazine, "Red Carpet," where celebrities will write articles about their lives.
She's confrontational, quick-witted and isn't afraid to speak her mind no matter who she's talking to. Then again, she IS the daughter of deceased mob boss John Gotti.
"Look, I loved my father and I love my family," she told The Associated Press. "But this is my life. I don't represent anyone else, it's about me and my children, and I want to make sure they do good in their lives."
Gotti and her sons are the subject of the new reality show "Growing up Gotti," which premieres on A&E at 9:30 p.m. EST Monday. She said she did the show to clear up talk that she's "The Godmother" or that her family is the real-life Sopranos.
I saw the promo for this show last night and had to laugh. I'm not a reality television fan and just can't imagine this being a show - - but then I didn't think Paris Hilton walking around the Ozarks in Blahniks would be a show either and I was wrong in that case as she is on season two.
What's next?

I think Growing up Gotti is an interesting reality show, that really portrays the life that the Gotti's do probably live. It also shows an Italian-American single parent family, dealing with everyday familial obligations and issues. Yes and for those ready to criticize, I do realize that they do so in a wealthy and privledged manner. Regardless of this I don't view the Gotti boys as any different from alot of society's teenagers today and to add to their situation they have their name to live with, the loss of their Grandfather and the imprisonment of their father, please don't get me wrong I believe if you do the crime do the time. Regardless of the Gotti family history, I believe that Victoria has been brave in doing this show, by virtue of exposing her faults and accomplishments. Lets face it we all have faults. Bravo!

The Show "Growing Up Gotti" is one of the most intresting families around. I mean the Gotti family is the family of the 21 century. Many mothers are single, and manage to raise respectful kids, even if they slack off. I think a single woman accomplishes more than a married woman. My mom showed us that playing mom and dad isn't the most easiest role for a parent. I think even if Victoria wasn't a Gotti, she would be just as famous. It's funny to see many jealous views who put down the "Mrs. G" that just shows she did her job

I AM OF ITALIAN DECENT, BOTH PARENTS WERE BORN IN THE U.S. I WATCH the Growing of Gotti series weekly I especially enjoyed the show when VICTORIA made HER "GRAVY". I HAVE BEEN MADE Fun OF FOR CALLING MY SAUCE " Gravy", those non Italians call it sauce. They think they know all about italian food. I think you should jar your sauce after all Robert gave it a thumbs up.

seriously, Growing up Gotti is a ritual in my house. every week it is the ony time my family gets to gether for a television show. i respect victoria more than most because as she is raising three teenage sons my mother is raising three teenage daughters at 16 17 & 18 years old. i think that what she is doing is wonderful. her family doesnt exactly have the best reputation and she is proving that you dont have to continue the negitivity to be famous. quite frankly i dont think that John Gotti is turning in his grave. i am sure that he is proud to se that the family name can be carried on and still so well known in a positive way. i love victoria gotti for all that she has accomplished. as for all the horrible remarks about her sons. THEY ARE TEENS!! im sorry but if you ask me they are just as amazing as their mother. yeah they may have mouths on them at times but what teenager doesnt. they are comstantly in the spotlight and that has to be hard on them because it is hard on most adults who have lived with it all their lives too. i think you people need to give them a break. they are all doing the best that they can. <3 ashley

The Gotti Show is a real life action show and I love it because it is run by respect as to no cussing or vulgar actions.The boys do act off,but ''most''teenagers do and more so,''boys''.The show is funny and it shows more or less how a family with teenagers acts behind closed doors.The show that I found obnoxious and dirty was the Osbornes.They had nothing cute and showed disrespect in public.Thats my opinion.

Well it only took me an hour to find this site and the sad thing is that i dont even know if im in the right one. i watched your show last night and saw the look on your face when u met Ester(nice panties.) i am younger than u but u seem to remind me a lot of me. i couldn't agree with more on the facts of lfe. I love watching Growing up Gottie,I admire Victoria for the strong women she is and for having 3 gorgeous sons and raising them very well. I especially love her 17 year old son John. When I first watched Growing Up Gottie I thought her boys where all in there 20's but when I found out that they were still teanagers I was really happy to hear that I get to see hot guys that are my age!!

I love Growing Up Gotti! The show is exciting and fun to watch. I never miss an episode! I think the boys are gorgeous and typical teenagers. They are very respectful when it comes down to it. I hate how some people portray them and their family when they dont even know them other than watching the show. How can you come to a conclusion of someone's personality when you only know them from watching a show thats designed for entertainment and edited for that purpose? Victoria is an amazing mom who has a tight relationship with her kids. How many kids do you know now a days that are that close to their mom? She must be doing something right! John is my favorite. Not only is he amazingly gorgeous but he has a fun, energetic personality on the show to boot!

I love Growing up Gotti, its alot of fun and they crack me up. I live in Texas and my mother-in-law and father-in-law run a porelain doll business and I've been teaching doll classes for almost 11 years. We're real small, and I would love to give Victoria Gotti a beautiful porcelain doll that we made. I seen that episode with that lady who wanted to make a doll in her image, what an insult. I just want to give her one. Victoria seems like a very down to earth person and she has a great sense of humor, she reminds me of a dear friend of mine. She really keep those boys of hers in line and they listen to her which is great because raising kids is not the eaisiest thing to do. I have 3 girls and im not single and its still hard.More power to her, you go girl! If anyone knows any way to get in touch with her, i would love to send her a beautiful porcelain doll. I love Growing Up Gotti. Everyone cracks me up. Victoria seems like a down to earth person with a great sense of humor, which i love in a person, her kids are funny too! I would love to send Victoria a hand crafted doll that we made. She would love it. We don't make ugly,cheap dolls. Our students dont leave with a bad doll. "Growing Up Gotti" is a Monday night must for me. God help them if one of my sons decides to drop by while I am watching . . . it is, "Don't bother me, I watching 'Growing Up Gotti!'" At which time they know better to make even a slight sound. Being Sicilian and growing up in a strict household . . . no talking back, doing what you were told, never displaying any sign of disrespect, and heaven help us if we did not follow the the rules. Imagine my surprise when I was the first of my family to get a divorce (My family's view was that it was extremely shameful.) and raising two boys by myself since they were babies. (They're 25 & 28 now.) I love watching the Gottis because they remind me of my own family, minus the money. Guess what . . . in this day & age teenage boys fight & curse like sailors. The Gotti brothers act just like my sons did at that age & even though I was a single parent . . . I kept them in line. However, with a little yelling at times, OK may be it was a lot of yelling. Victoria reminds me of myself, I worked full time as a RN at night & still had to be the "Mother of the Year." It is a battle. Some of the above comments make me think that obviouly these people have no idea of the reality of the situation. If you watch the Gotti boys closely, you will notice that often, especially in public, the boys are very polite & well behaved. The Mother's Day show was great & proved how thoughtful & how much they love their mother. I also enjoy that at times they refer to their mother as "mommie." So for you negative folks . . . get a grip & take into consideration the Gottis are not exactly like you given their circumstances, but they may be just like you if they were in your shoes. Oh, & if you don't like the show . . . don't watch it.

I really feel sorry for Victoria and all the she has to put up with. Bad secretaries that smoke, workers that don't fulfill a day's worth of work. Therefore I would like to offer my services to her in any capacity, ie: property tending, secretarial work, time management, etc. Therefore I'm looking for a way to contact her or the job agency which she hires from.

Victoria Gotti has no life. She is the wife of a murderer, gangster, and thief. She is incredibly fake and materialistic with her ridiculous fake mansion and gaudy jewelry. All I have to say is.. Victoria in my eyes is an amazing woman who deserves to be respected in every way. She reminds me a lot of my mom because my mother is also a single woman..except one who raises 3 teenage daughters... Her daughters (one of them being me!).. are all infatuated with her three sons.. Carmine, John and Frankie.. and we would do anything just to meet them once. I know Victoria is probably NEVER going to see this.. but whoever is reading this now.. Im just writing this to let you know..no matter how much insults one can make about Victoria..little do they see the problems she faced as a child.. and how she literally did..have to work her way up to where she is now. My father also admired John Gotti.. and knows so much knowledge about his legacy. My whole family admires what an amazing trip the Gotti name went through. Although some people see "Growing Up Gotti" as a T.V. show where 3 GORGEOUS teens are spoiled...NO..that's not even the half of it.. when I watch that show.. it brings a quantity of entertainment and fun into my life. I can see.. that Victoria never ever spoils her sons. I too greatly love writing..and as I see her write in the
Star column and write all those fantastic books.. it inspires me and tells me that I too..may one day have a chance to publish a book. As I see my favorite Gotti boy-- Frankie.. follow in his mother's footsteps..the enthusiasm in me just begins to rise..pushing me to achieve anything I'd like to. Meeting the Gottis would be more than a dream for me. I'm not one of those "over-obsessed" teens.. who would do degrading things just to please the boys... but if I met them.. I would truly be touched and inspired.. because I don't want to meet them to "hook up with Frankie" .. "tell everyone I met John".. or to "give Carmine a hug".. but only to meet my absolute favorite celebrities.. but hey.. why not throw in a hug? =P.. No but I look up to Victoria so much because she is so..amazing! Most of you may think.. now come on.. you're just having a fad!.. But no.. although I'm just going into the 8th grade..does not mean that I'm an immature teen who just wants some from the Gotti
boys. I respect Victoria and admire her. Those boys are just gorgeous..yet I respect them and how they maintain their education

Victorias I love the show Ive seen almost every episode and I think Jon and the other guys are very cool. While browsing the web one day I happened to run accross a video taping of your january visit to your father. I have been a fan of his since I can remember and I was shocked when I heard him refer to blacks as niggers. Im not going to ride the I LOVE THE GOTTIS bandwagon! But......I love to watch the show, its comedic and the sons are soooo spoiled and funny!! Typical long island teenagers..But Victoria lets them get away with a lot!! She is a great mom, but they need to learn the value of a $. I see them all over the place, Kitchen Kaberet, the gym, Roosevelt Field, the beach and more..They are so cute@! I would LOVE to meet Victoria however, she is inspirational and so cool. I hope she is well, and she has a heart of gold. I hope the Dr has good news as far as your heart goes. You carry your name with pride, and the legacy you give your sons will enable them to do the same. I'm from Brooklyn, born and raised. I feel no one should judge a person by their name.
