With Jay-Z issuing a gag order on Cristal, the future of rap musicÂ’s beloved baubles of big pimpinÂ’ is becoming increasingly difficult to determine. Luckily, Agenda Inc. sorted through all the death threats, drug references, financial bragging and sexual suggestion of last yearÂ’s top Billboard tracks to prepare the following report on the top ten most name-checked brands in music:

--I have to say, it surprises me that "Chevrolet" made the list.

2 Thisisn't exclusively a hip hop list, but it certainly shows you where the product placement occurs in music. Hip hop has already found it's replacement for Cristal ... Patron. I counted three songs currently on the charts that mention it ... for example, listen to "SNAP YO FANGAHZZZ" by Lil' Jon ... "WHAT!"
